| okay, i havent really updated in a while but i have some AWESOME news. We have been looking for a new place like crazy. and its been getting pretty hectic because we have only a few weeks left before our notice is up at turtle creek. today, I was driving around looking for places to live. I drove by an area of riverside that I have seen a million times before, but in front of a driveway was a for rent sign. So I drove down the driveway and even though I had seen this place a million times (especially when I lived in riverside apartments). I never really noticed what it was. As I drove back, it was not one but several duplexes hidden away in a very wooded area. You would think you stumbled upon a comune in the middle of the forest. They were like 6 or 7 duplexes. All very bohemian, hippie style, but also very classy. With very descent looking neighbors. So I called the number. At first I was really disappointed because the first thing they told me was that they were $700-$800. But that all changed when they said EVERYTHING is included. Trash, Water, Gas, Electric, Satelite TV, security system, and home phone! All of my bills besides rent add up to be around $400 (cable $200, electric $120, gas $50, water $30). But to also have a home phone and security system! It's like I found an awesome ass place that rents for $300. I am not disappointed at all anymore that those other places fell through. This is AMAZING. I have an appointment tomorrow to take a look inside. I really hope that we get this place, it would be incredible. |
